Bestway Lay-Z-Spa Paris Inflatable Hot Tub Review

Lay-Z-Spa already have a great range of inflatable hot tubs catering for different sizes and people, from the Miami for 2-4 people up to the Monaco at 8, in the middle they have the vegas Havana spa which is for 2-6 people, however they have released a new hot tub for 2017 that replaces this one.

Introducing the Bestway Lay-Z-Spa Paris which is new for 2016. Similar in size to the vegas spa it holds 4-6 people, heats up to 40 degrees and has a width of 196cm. While they look similar there are also some new features to the Paris Hot Tub, there is a built in lighting system, it has a new Rapid Heating System & Timer and it is also slightly taller, which means that more of your shoulders are covered by water when you are relaxing in it.

LED Lighting
The Bestway Lay-Z-Spa Paris Inflatable Hot Tub is the first to come with a built in LED lighting system, it is operated by a water proof remote that comes with the spa, the remote allows you to set the colour of the LEDs where you can choose from 7 different bright colours. You can select one colour to remain on or you can set it to cycle through the different colours. This is great for setting the mood in the spa, creating a lighting effect for a romantic evening, or a party, or bright fun colours for the kids when they are having fun in the jacuzzi.

The LEDS lights run around the inside of the hot tub and really do look great, it works well and does look high end, it doesn’t look cheap or tacky and does create a nice mood light.

40C° Rapid Heating System & Timer
This new inflatable hot tub will heat up to a nice warm 40 degrees, it also has a built in timers that allows you to set when the heater pump comes on and what time. If you plan to use your hot tub at 7pm when you come home each night then you can ensure that the heater comes on at 5pm to make sure the hot tub is up to your desired temperature. The pump will heat the water up at a rate of 2 degrees per hour and it can take around 10 hours to heat and get up to temperature. Once heated the heating system will maintain this temperature for you.

Other Features
As with all Lay-Z-Spa inflatable hot tubs it comes with a clip on lid that locks in place when not in use helping to keep the water warm and also stopping debris getting in. The hot tub comes with a how to DVD which is an easy to follow guide on how to set it up and use. The hot tub itself requires no special tools or skilled tradesmen, it is a matter of unpacking, inflating the spa, filling with water and then leaving over night to heat up. It is very easy to and the only bits that take the time are filling it with water and then leaving it to heat up. Once it has heated the pump will switch off and then you re ready to use.
